Dear Melanoma Launch

Dear Melanoma was launched in June 2014 at my old high school in Brisbane, St Aidan’s AGS. The launch was sold out within a week of tickets going on sale with a massive 200 people attending.

Robin Bailey, popular radio host, was MC for the event. Popular Brisbane writers, including Frances Whiting, Rebecca Sparrow, Sarah Wills, and Emily Jade O’Keeffe, offered advice about writing online and, in turn, had the crowd in stitches with laughter.

Over $9000 was raised from ticket sales with all money going to Melanoma Institute Australia.

 

Through the Looking Glass

In February 2015, Dear Melanoma hosted a cocktail party, Through the Looking Glass, Mirra Private Dining and Events. It was amazing night enjoyed by over 230 people and raising over $36,000 for Melanoma Institute Australia.
